What's the most positive thing that religion offer?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 29, 2007:
It offers a sense of community -- knowing that there are other like-minded people in one place to give support when needed, comfort when needed, and some kind of assistance when needed. A structured religion says that I can go to someone when I am in need.

I agree with you, even though I am not religious. This is what I believe is the best of what religion offers as well. Religion-as-community certainly gives one great comfort in the sense that you can surround yourself with people of like thought.
