What is it that you do to let go?

I love mandalas. I am reminded about mandalas that when Buddhists create those beautiful sand paintings of mandalas that they meticulously worked on for hours and hours, they then destroy the painting. Impermenance. Nothing is meant to last forever, no matter how good. Everything must come to an end. Create no attachments.

Help

I watched a group of monks in the process of creating a mandala once. It is fascinating. All the more when one knows they will destroy it once finished.
Thanks Christine for sharing that. It is amazing how they can be so detached from something so beautiful and so mindfully created. A lesson for us all. Peace and blessings.
I love your example of impermanence, letting go using the mandala.
Thanks Mila. It's about being fully present! Peace, C.
