What do people really want?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 25, 2009:

I do not believe that people truly know what they want, this is the big issue. What people need is LOVE! If they realize that they have and are love, then their wants will be few.

I couldn't agree with you more.  As people we try to fill this gap in our lives with too many things that we think will bring us love and inner peace, but if we just realized we ARE love then we will be at peace.

I am still reading “A New Earth” by Mr. Tolle.  One thing he pointed out is that being satisfied by all that is is the key to finding peace.  Whether this translates into love, finding and being love, or anything else is up to the interpreter, isn't it?
